ERASMUS+
Summary
Since a long time, Istituto comprensivo di Chiuduno has been committed to providing a supportive environment that encourages young people to be co-creators of the learning process and active shapers of their own abilities, competences and life skills. Our aim is to create a learning environment where our students take responsibility for their own future and for the future of society, by getting to know their own talents and investing on them. Our project “Open minds: new horizons in education” aimed to enhance both inclusion of special needs students and the students' active partecipation to the lessons, to the educational processes of the school and to our community life. We also aimed to improve the methodological skills of our foreign languages teachers and to train teachers in the following topics: inclusive lesson structure, learning environments, cognition-focused tasks, time management in the lesson. Last but not least, we wanted to to reinforce our primary and lower secondary schools teachers CLIL methodology.

Job-shadowing in Caceres: telling our stories through social medias e-twinning project
Description
The participation of two teachers in a job shadowing at a primary school in Caceres was the starting point of a eTwinning project on the subject of cultural heritage and social media. Students from 4th and 5th years of both schools met during two online classes and interviewed each other in order to collect info about their countries cultural heritage. The following step was to write articles about the experience on the school magazine, which have then been published on both schools’ websites. Later on, during the school year, the Spanish students came to stay with our primary school students in Bolgare for a week mobility.
